I recently scanned these letters so that anyone interested may read them. They are from/around 1932 and were written to & from Dad when he was living with relatives in Roanoke VA. During the Depression, Dad, his brother Bob, sisters Francis & Lenora and his mother Peg (Grandma) went to live with various relatives as John (Grandpap) lost his job in Pittsburgh and had no money to keep his family together. This lasted for a couple of years before he was reunited with them back in Pittsburgh.
